How do I star?

Hi you out there...
this is not really my first post, but still I do not know how to start.
Having had a look at other people's blog I am even more confused.
I could write about my cat which wakes me up every night, asking for food.
Or I cold write about my work, but I guess you would not really like that topic.
Maybe I just start with why I actually started having or writing a blog. My idea behind it is, to practice writing, in english for one, since it is a foreign language for me. (So, sorry for any spelling mistake)
Plus I would like to become a writer, or at least learn a bit more about it.
That is why. Maybe in an other post I will tell you how.(Suggestions are always welcome!)
